Victoria Breece and Fudge earned scores of 60.769% and 61.538% in Third Level 2. Monika Schnacke and Cardelano received a 62.5% in the FEI Int. I class. Congratulations!

Dressage at the Park
Raeford, NC

Congratulations to Monika Schnacke and her Prince Pommery on winning the Grand Prix classes both days. Monika and Cardelano won the Intermediate I class on Sunday with a 66.316%! They earned a 61.579% on the Saturday in the Int. I which was good for 2nd place in the class. Also competing in the Int. I was Nan Pieroni and Leopold earning a 61.842% and Pam Silverman and Diamero earning a 60.526%. Victoria Breece and Fudge won both of their Third level classes with a 61.538% in Third level 2 and a 61.860% in Third level 3. Sheriden Oliver and her mare, Dancing on Air, won their Third level 2 class with a 60.769%. Janet Tucker and Dreamaster, won three of their Second level classes with scores of 67.297%, 64.595%, 63.333% and 63.095%. Congratulations to everyone!

Borderline Dressage
Tryon, NC

We had a quite a few riders head out to Tryon to compete and everyone enjoyed the show. Hidden Spring Farm’s dressage trainer, Diane Ritz, showed Al Forno for his first time out at Intermediate I with great results. They came in second place the first day with a 64.474% and won the class the following day with an impressive 67.632%!! Al Forno is an 8 year old Danish gelding owned by R & S Dressage Group, LLC. Diane started riding him less than two years ago and is pleased with his consistent progress. Also competing in the Intermediate I, and exchanging placings with Diane, were Monika Schnacke and her Cardelano. Monika and Cardie won the class the first day with a 65.000% and came in second place on the Sunday with a 61.842%. Monika also competed in the Grand Prix with Prince Pommery, placing second both days. Holly Shook and Pharoah did extraordinarily well earning scores of 69.744% and 66.410% in Third level 2 and scores of 70.465% and 66.512% in Fourth level 1. Victoria Breece and Fudge continued to do well at Third level with scores of 62.564% and 63.023%. Ryan Eskridge and Kana earned scores from the judges of 77.500%, 71.000%, 69.211% and 68.421% in their First level classes, winning two of them. Jami Edwards and Will were close behind in the same First level classes with scores of 69.444%, 66.333%, 66.053% and 62.895%. Congratulations to everyone for a successful show!!

Pinehurst Fall Dressage
Pinehurst, NC

Congratulations to Valerie Heckrodt and Remmington Steel on winning the Sylvia Miller Memorial Trophy for the best Third level amateur. Valerie and Remi also earned the Dover Medal at this show as the highest scoring pair in their Second level 3 class. Congratulations to Valerie and Remi!

Labor’s Reward
Aiken, SC

Congratulations to Diane Ritz and Al Forno who continued their winning ways at Fourth level with blue ribbons in both of their classes with a 72.791% and a 70.682%. Diane and Al Forno then came in second place in their debut at Prix St. Georges with a score of 68.421%! Sheriden Oliver and Dance earned a 60.476% in her Second level 4 class. Julie Davis and Angie won their Training level 3 class with a score of 68.8% and they received a 62.4% in their Training 4 class.

Our Hanoverian baby, a Bugatti foal out of Germany, was born on August 26th in the morning. Brio is a very well put together, attractive colt and has won many hearts at the farm with his wonderful temperament.

Summer Mountain Getaway
Asheville, NC

Valerie Heckrodt and Remi continue to do well at Third Level earning scores of 63.846%, 63.077% and 63.077%. Ryan Eskridge and Kana had a great show winning three of their First Level classes with scores of 69.944%, 70.263%, 70.556% and 71.944%. Also, earning great scores at First Level were Jami Edwards and Will with scores of 67.632%, 66.944%, 63.889% and 62.895%. Well done!

Summer Highland Fling
Tryon, NC

Trainer Diane Ritz and Al Forno had a terrific show winning all of their Fourth level classes with huge scores! On Saturday, they earned scores of 69.7% in Fourth level 1 and 70.6% in Fourth level 2 and on Sunday received a 74% in Fourth level 2. Congratulations Diane and Fornie!

June 2009

Congratulations to Victoria Breece on earning her Bronze Medal!!! Victoria earned her final score at the Down East Dressage show in Raeford aboard her gelding, Fudge. Victoria along with trainer, Lindsay Staiano, have done a tremendous job bringing Fudge along and up the levels. Victoria and Fudge returned to showing in November 2007 after a five year break and came back at second level and have been going strong since. It’s been wonderful to watch Victoria and Fudge develop as a team with Fudge developing muscle and confidence over the past several years. Congratulations Victoria!

Down East Dressage

The trip to Raeford was a successful outing for everyone! Congratulations to Victoria Breece and Fudge who won their Third level 2 class with a 62.05% and their Third level 3 class with a 60.2%! Valerie Heckrodt and Remmington Steel (Remi) won their Third level 1 class on Saturday with a 64.6% and came in second on Sunday with a 64.359%. Jami Edwards and Will won both of their First level 2 classes with scores of 67.5% and 69.167% and came in second in their First level 4 class with a 67.1%. At their first show, Lisa and Riki, earned scores of 61.9%, 63.6% and 64.6% at First level. Ryan Eskridge and Kana received a 69.6% at Training level 4 and a 67.1% in both of their First level 4 classes. Congratulations to everyone!

Capital Dressage Classic
Raleigh, NC

Ryan Eskridge and Kana won all of their classes this weekend with scores of 78.4%, 75.6% and 73.0% at training level and a 76.0% at First level. Ryan and Kana received the high score award for the show at both Training Level and for a Jr/YR! At their first show, Jami Edwards and Will received scores of 62.5%, 65.0%, 66.9% and 69.0% at First level winning two of their classes. Congratulations to both Ryan and Jami and their trainer, Diane Ritz!

Congratulations to Monika Schnacke and Prince Pommery on winning two of their Grand Prix classes over the weekend and earning a 62.5% in their third Grand Prix class for 3rd place. Monika and Cardelano received a 63.4% in their Intermediate I class. Diane Ritz and Al Forno won their Sunday Fourth level 1 class with a 65.1%.

Congratulations to Jami Edwards on the purchase her new horse, Free Will. “Will” came from Anne Aloi’s barn in Virginia. He is a 5 year old 16.1h bay Oldenburg gelding who is currently showing first level. Best of luck to this new partnership!

March Magic

Several of our riders drove up to Williamston as their first show for the season. Congratulations to Bonnie Efird and Magie Noir who won Sunday’s Intermediate I class with a 75.263%. Jenny Buchanan and Ukeegan came in first place in their NAJC Jr. Team test with a 63.108%. Congratulations to Ryan Eskridge and Kana on winning three of their training level classes and coming in second in their fourth class. They received scores of 72.0%, 75.0%, 75.6% and 75.714% in their Training Level 2 and 4 classes. Heather Neubauer and Dukat received scores of 63.571% and 65.135% showing second level. Amber Duncan and Aviator received scores of 65.6% and 67.857% in their training level classes. Congratulations to everyone!
