November 14, 2010 Why Not An American Ark Dressage Show Monroe, NC Congratulations to Lindsay Staiano and Fudge on a successful PSG debut. In his first PSG outing he earned a 65% and blue ribbon! We look forward to seeing Victoria and Fudge showing in 2011!

November 11-14, 2010 2010 GAIG Region 1 Championships/NCDCTA Harvest Moon Dressage Williamston, NC Congratulations to Holly Shook and Jami Edwards on their Championship wins in Williamston! Holly and Capetown earned a 67.5% to win the Jr/Yr Int. 1 championship class. She also won the Thursday Int. 1 stakes class with a 67.368%. Jami Edwards and her horse, Freewill, earned a 69.167% to win the Second Level Jr/YR Championship! That was the exciting finish to her weekend where she had already scored well in her other second level classes. Congratulations to both Jami and Holly and their trainer, Diane Ritz.

October 9-10, 2010 Dressage at the Park Raeford, NC Valerie Heckrodt and Remmington Steel continued their winning ways at Fourth Level taking the blue ribbon of their classes and coming in 2nd in their remaining class. They earned scores of 67.442%, 65.581% and 62.791%.

September 25-26, 2010 Pinehurst Fall Dressage Pinehurst, NC Congratulations to Bernie Dembosky and her horse, Without A Doubt (Tony) for a successful Fourth Level debut. They received scores of 65.581% and 63.488% in their Fourth level classes and won their 3-2 class on Saturday with a 66.410%! Valerie Heckrodt and Remmington Steel (Remi) also had success at Fourth Level winning the 4-1 on Sunday with a 65.581% and earning a 60.93% on Saturday. Valerie and Remi received a 66.279% in their 3-3 class on Sunday. Congratulations to both Bernie and Valerie!

September 18-19, 2010 Borderline Dressage Tryon, NC Holly Shook and Capetown continue to earn great scores showing Int. 1 placing second on Saturday with a 66.053% and winning the Int. 1 on Sunday with a 72.368! Jami Edwards and Freewill continue to improve their scores at Third Level winning two of their classes over the weekend. Congratulatations!

August 14-15, 2010 Early Morning Blues Raeford, NC Trainer Diane Ritz and Megatrond, at his second show and First Level debut, won the 1-3 class with a score of 66.00% and earned identical scores of 64.737% in their two other classes. Jami Edwards and her six year old gelding, Freewill, had a successful outing at their first show moving up to Third Level.

August 7-8, 2010 Summer Mountain Getaway Asheville, NC Holly Shook and Capetown earned big scores of 66.579% and 69.474% in their Int. 1 classes. Valerie Heckrodt and Remmington Steel earned scores of 63.023% and 64.884% in their 3-3 classes and a 63.488% in their 4-1 class. Congratulations!!

July 16-17, 2010 Dressage at Lexington Lexington, VA Holly Shook is back showing Capetown and they made the journey to Lexington where they received a 62.632% in the Int. 1 class on their first day of showing and came back strong the following day earning a 67.2015% and winning the class! Congratulations to Holly and Mike!

July 10-11, 2010 Rise n Shine Dressage Raeford, NC Kelsey Dunlap, student of Diane Ritz, had another successful show riding Holly Shook’s Capetown. They won the PSG class on Saturday with a 69.474% and then won the Int. 1 class the next day with another 69.474%! This show gave Kelsey the scores for her USDF Silver Medal, which she achieved in just four rides at two shows! Kelsey was also showing Hidden Spring Farm’s Megatrond at his first show. Megatrond, five year old son of HSF’s Trond, won all three of his Training level classes with scores of 78.929%, 71.304% and 67.6% and was High Score of the show! Bernie Dembosky showed her horse, This One (Tony), and took home the blue ribbon in all four of their Third level classes. With scores of 67.949% and 69.231%, Bernie earned her Bronze Medal at this show!

June 25-26, 2010 Summer Highland Fling Tryon, NC Congratulations to Kelsey Dunlap riding Capetown on winning the PSG class on Saturday with a 66.316% and winning the Int. 1 class on Sunday with a 65.00%! Capetown (Mike) is owned by Holly Shook and Kelsey has had the opportunity to ride and show Mike this past year. This was Kelsey’s first time showing at this level, and Mike’s first time showing the Int. 1!!! Congratulations to Anna Southern and PV for earning scores of 66.4% and 62.4% in their Training level classes.

June 12-13, 2010 NCDCTA Down East Dressage Raeford, NC Valerie Heckrodt and Remmington Steel had a successful first showing at Fourth Level in Raeford earning scores of 60.395% and 60.698%! They also brought home blue ribbons in their two Third Level Test 3 classes. Congratulations Valerie and Remi!

June 4-6, 2010 NCDCTA Capital Dressage Classic Raleigh, NC Trainer Diane Ritz and three of her students headed to Raleigh for a 3 day weekend. Ryan Eskridge and Franziskana won three of their Second Level classes with scores of 66.842%, 64.865% and 60.526%. They took second place in their remaining Second level class with a 63.784%. Jami Edwards and Freewill earned scores of 65.814%, 65.238%, 63.953%, 61.905% and 60.930%, winning two of their Second level classes. Anna Southern and Perseverence (PV) received a huge score of 69.2% in their Training 3 class which earned them 2nd place out of ten! They also earned scores of 62.8% and 60.0% their Training 4 classes. Congratulations!

May 7-9, 2010 Dressage in the Sandhills Pinehurst, NC In their first show at Fourth Level, Victoria Breece and Fudge earned a 63.023% in their 4-1 class and a 60.682% in their 4-2 class. Anna Southern and PV earned scores of 65.2% and 65.652% in their Training level classes. This was Anna’s first time back in the show ring in years! Congratulations to both riders!

April 17-18, 2010 Spring Fling Aiken, SC Holly Shook and Pharoah received a 66.053% and first place in their debut at Prix St. Georges! They also received scores of 67.805% and 64.878% in their 4-3 classes, which earned them first and second place in those classes. Kelsey Dunlap and Capetown (Mike) earned the blue ribbon in Sunday 4-3 class with a score of 66.341%. Kelsey and Mike also won their 4-2 class the day prior with a 66.364%. Jami Edwards and Freewill took home the blue ribbon in their 2-3 class with a score of 66.279% and earned scores of 63.571% and 62.381% in their 2-4 classes. Ryan Eskridge and Franziskana were unbeatable at First Level winning all their classes as well as High Score of the show with scores of 73.667%, 72.5%, 70.278% and 66.667%! Congratulations to all on a terrific start to the show season!
