December 3-4, 2011 Holiday on Horse Aiken, SC Congratulations to Monika Schnacke and Prince Pommery earning scores of 61.489% and 61.277% in their Grand Prix classes. Kristen Kovach and First Dance (Louie) earned a 60.789% in their PSG class on Saturday and a 60.000% in their I-1 debut on Sunday. Carol Minnerop and Avatar earned a 61.429% in their Training test 2 on the Sunday. Congratulations to all riders and their horses!

October 20-23, 2011 USDF/Great American Region 1 Finals Lexington, VA Jami Edwards and Will earned a 65.526% and second place in their 3-1 class on Thursday. The following day Jami and Will won the Third Level Championship class on Friday with a score of 66.667%! Ryan Eskridge and Kana won their 3-3 class on Friday with a 67.949%. On Saturday, they won their Second Level Championship class with a 67.619%! Diane Ritz and Megatrond earned scores of 70.161%, 69.677% and 68.710% in their first level classes. Congratulations!

October 1-2, 2011 Pumpkin Patch Dressage Camden, SC Valerie Heckrodt and Remmington Steel (Remy) made their PSG debut in Camden and earned a 63.684% and the blue ribbon! Kristen Kovach and First Dance (Louie) had a successful show earning scores of 65.0% and 61.316% in their PSG classes. Ryan Eskridge and Franziskana (Kana) won both of their 3-3 classes with scores of 71.026% and 70.513%. Ryan earned a 66.842% in her 3-1 class finishing second to herself showing Cathy Gill’s horse, Rastino. She and Rastino earned a 67.368% in that class and also won their other 3-1 class with a 71.579%. Monika Schnacke and Prince Pommery (Pommes) earned a 62.979% riding through the Grand Prix version B. Congratulations to everyone!

September 25-26, 2011 Pinehurst Fall Dressage Pinehurst, NC Valerie Heckrodt and Remmington Steel (Remi) were the lone Hidden Spring representatives at Pinehurst but they did us proud earning scores of 64.00%, 63.514% and 60.857% in their Fourth level classes. They plan to make their PSG debut at the upcoming Camden show!

September 17-18, 2011 Cool Down Dressage Raeford, NC Several riders headed down to the Raeford show and had a successful weekend. Trainer, Diane Ritz, riding CeCe Stewart’s Pacino, won the Int. 2 class both days with scores of 64.211% and 61.053% in the Int. 2. Kristen Kovach and First Dance (Louie) won three of their four Fourth Level classes earning scores of 64.054%, 63.541%, 60.857% and 60.0%. Jami Edwards and Will won their Fourth Level test with a score of 63.143%. They also earned scores of 70.526%, 67.436% and 62.895% in the Third level classes. Also showing Third Level was Ryan Eskridge and Kana, earning scores of 71.316%, 66.667%, 66.154% and 64.474%. Jami and Ryan took turns placing first or second in their Third level classes. Taylor and Gus earned scores of 64.643% and 63.333% in their Training level classes and a 61.034% showing First Level on Sunday. Congratulations to all riders and their horses!

September 10-11, 2011 Borderline Dressage Tryon, NC The Fall show is Tryon marked the return to the show ring and the first barefoot performance for Prince Pommery (Pommes) and Monika Schnacke. They took first place both days in the Grand Prix with scores of 66.383% and 64.681%! Monika and Cardelano earned scores of 66.579% and 66.316% to win the Int. 1 both days. Trainer, Diane Ritz also had a great weekend winning FEI TOC class both days showing the Grand Prix Special. Diane, riding Carol Minnerop’s gelding Kosmos, earned scores of 65.833% and 65.625% in the GP special. Diane also took first place in Int. 2 both days riding CeCe Stewart’s Pacino. They earned scores of 66.579% and 65.263%. Diane showed Megatrond First Level and earned scores of 73.226% and 67.931%. Congratulations everyone on a great show!

August 14-15, 2011 Early Morning Blues Dressage Raeford, NC Rain did not dampen scores for Hidden Spring riders, Ryan Eskridge and Jami Edwards. Ryan and her horse, Kana, placed first in all four of their Third Level classes with scores of 68.205%, 65.385%, 65.122% and 62.439%. Jami and her horse Will made their Fourth Level debut and earned a 65.714% and won the class! They also earned scores of 65.897%, 63.684% and 62.895% in their Third level classes receiving two firsts and a second. Congratulations to both Jami and Ryan and their trainer, Diane Ritz!

August 13, 2011 Summer Sizzler at the Ark Monroe, NC Donna Nelson and Fritz earned a 26% in their dressage test, had one rail down in stadium, but still went on to win the Maiden Division. Monika Schnacke and Cardelano moved up to the Novice Division and continued to do well. They earned a 25% in their dressage test, went clean in stadium, and won their division. Congratulations to both Donna and Monika, and their trainer, Lindsay Staiano!

August 6-7, 2011 Summer Mountain Getaway Asheville, NC Valerie Heckrodt and Remmington Steel earned scores of 64.054% and 62.973% and placed first in their 4-2 classes and came in second in their 4-3 class. Congratulations to Valerie and Remi! We all look forward to your PSG debut!!

July 10-11, 2011 Rise n' Shine Dressage Raeford, NC All three riders that headed to Raeford had a terrific show! Valerie Heckrodt and Remmington Steel (Remi) won their 4-3 class on Saturday with a 66.00%. Valerie and Remi earned scores of 68.649% (1st place) and 67.027%(2nd) in their 4-2 classes. Jami Edwards and Freewill won two of their classes at Third level with scores of 68.947% and 67.368% and earned scores of 64.359% and 64.103% in their other Third level tests. Trainer Diane Ritz and Megatrond won two of their First level classes with scores of 71.622% and 69.032%. Congratulations everyone!

June 4, 2011 Summer Sizzler at the Ark Monroe, NC Congratulations to Monika Schnacke and Cardelano for their first place in the beginner novice division. They earned a 31% in their dressage which put them in first place and then went clean stadium and maintained that score to win!

June 3-5, 2011 Capital Dressage Classic Raleigh, NC Several riders headed north to Raleigh to compete with everyone winning at least one of their classes. Kelsey Dunlap took first place in her three First level classes showing Rhonda Dretel’s gelding, Traviatto, earning scores of 69.032%, 67.027% and 65.676%! Congratulations to Jami Edwards and Will on earning their qualifying score winning their Third level class with a 64.615%! Ryan Eskridge and Franziskana won three of their Third Level classes with score of 65.000%, 62.895% and 61.316%. Valerie Heckrodt and Remmington Steel continued to do very well at Fourth Level and took the blue ribbon in their first time showing Fourth Level Test 3!! Congratulations to everyone!

May 29-30, 2011 May Day Dressage Aiken, SC Diane Ritz and Kosmos earned two blue ribbons with scores of 65.532% and 64.468% showing Grand Prix this weekend. Diane also showed Megatrond First level winning both classes on Saturday with scores of 72.703% and 70.00%. Sunday, Diane and Megatrond earned a 63.571% at his second level debut.

May 6-8, 2011 Dressage in the Sandhills Pinehurst, NC Congratulations to Diane Ritz and Kosmos on winning Friday's PSG class with a 70.0%. They went on to win Saturday's Int. 1 class with a 62.105% and came in second in the Int. 1 class on Sunday with a 65.000%. Kosmos' owner, Carol, was in town and enjoyed attending the show. Ryan Eskridge and her gelding, Franziskana, continued to do well winning two of their four classes. They earned scores of 68.333% and 66.667% at Second level and 67.368% and 65.526% in their debut at Third Level!

April 2011 We welcomed a new filly born April 6th by Trond out of the Hanoverian mare, Germany. She is a beautiful bay with lots of chrome. We are certain she will be as trainable and talented as her full brother, Megatrond.

March 25-27, 2011 March Magic Dressage Williamston, NC Congratulations to Jami Edwards and Ryan Eskridge on a great start to the show season. Jami and her horse, Freewill, earned scored of 63.684%, 63.415% and 60.526% in their Third Level classes. Ryan and Franziskana won their Second Level stakes class with a 74.571%! They placed first and second in their two other Second Level classes with scores of 67.632% and 66.857%.

March 19-20, 2011 Southern Comfort Dressage Aiken, SC Trainer, Diane Ritz, riding Carol Minnerop’s Kosmos, won both of her PSG classes with scores of 67.368% and 65.263%. Kelsey Dunlap, riding Pam Silverman’s Diamero, won Saturday’s Int. 1 class with a 66.053%. Congratulations to both Diane and Kelsey!
